やった!災害時も活躍、ネット不要&無料の 賢い国産AI搭載 PC爆誕!
Previously, using AI required either paid cloud-based AI or a high-end PC with an NVIDIA GPU for local AI. However, an environment has now been created where local AI can run smoothly even on Intel or AMD PCs. It's called Lemonade. https://lemonade-server.ai/ While it may not be a panacea, I'm pleased that a system has been created that allows us to easily run high-performance AI without requiring a large amount of power. Once again, internet-connected AI has become incredibly smart and convenient. On the other hand, power consumption is a problem, and it's said that building a massive data center, including cooling systems, would require building a system that runs nuclear power plants to meet the demand. However, internet dependence is doomed if communication means are lost. Many people accessing simultaneously would undoubtedly cause the network to crash. Even if you put PDFs on your smartphone, there's a limit to the amount you can store, and there's also a limit to how much you can carry on paper. A system where everything fits compactly and important information can be retrieved anytime could be called the Doraemon of the future. In times of disaster or in situations where information leaks are a concern, wouldn't it be interesting to consider using it as a means of gathering information without incurring significant costs or electricity, and also as a way to pass the time by playing games? So, I've had a glimpse of its potential. I'd like to explore this further.
