Steam Peckett 'Pectin' + diesel shunter 'Sam' at the Yeovil Railway Centre for the tractor weekend!

After the intensive day out at the Welland Steam Rally yesterday    • Friday at the Welland Steam Rally celebrat...   today saw a a nice change of pace and an enjoyable couple of hours at the Yeovil Railway Centre for their Tractor Weekend. The event saw trains conveying passengers along a 1/3rd of a mile along the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch, where the field was accessed with lots of Tractors and vintage vehicles on display. Resident steam locomotive Peckett & Sons Ltd 'Pectin' worked with the ex DMU trailer and later on in the day the diesel shunter 'Sam' came out working a diesel shuttle with the brake van and open wagon, before we finish with some scenes of Pectin returning to action after the lunch break, proudly wearing an England headboard.
