TSS: Twist Bioscience enables researchers to construct genes, oligo pools, libraries, or NGS panels

Seminar Abstract: At ‪@TwistBioscience‬, we work in service of customers who are changing the world for the better. In fields such as medicine, agriculture, industrial chemicals, and data storage, by using our synthetic DNA and targeted sequencing tools, our customers are developing ways to better lives and improve the sustainability of the planet. At the core of our business, we use highly scalable and precise oligo production to provide ‘best in class’ quality DNA synthesis and create genes of various lengths and difficulty. In addition, Twist has the ability to construct complex, high-diversity libraries at confined regions (for example, CDRs) and introduce technology advancements that enable construction of synthetic DNA libraries with diversity scattered along the length of constructs. This technology provides a powerful solution for focusing libraries to precisely interrogate the variant space and enables users to make iterative designs that hone in the target. In the target enrichment space, we liberate researchers from fixed-panel limitations. Our scalable solutions combine quick customization and content flexibility with unprecedented sequencing efficiency. Double-stranded DNA probes can be individually tuned to enrich target regions with exceptional uniformity, reducing the overall cost of sequencing. In our continuous pursuit of innovation, Twist additionally offers applications for detection of cancer biomarkers, differentially methylated regions, and viral/contagion genome.
