Måla ljus och skugga med akvarell
In this exercise, I’m painting from a photo I took at the boardwalk in Albufeira. The beautifully sunlit houses create a stunning contrast between light and shadow. The subject itself is challenging to sketch because it consists of many different buildings in various shapes and sizes. The trick is to not draw the houses individually but to treat the sunlit areas as one object and all the shadows as another. Despite this approach, I still lose track a couple of times during the filming!
