Here, I demonstrate how to create a simple nature scene—a beach with waves and trees. It’s good if the sky is graded, both in tone and strength. The same goes for the water. Remember to paint the sky all the way down to the horizon, as the forest will be painted over it afterward. When painting the trees, try to leave some air—small gaps so the sky shows through.
