DISPLACE Fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces and massive hunger and starvation have created the world’s largest displacement crisis, according to the United Nations. Nearly one-third of Sudan’s population, about eight million people, are displaced. People are displaced when they are forced to leave their home or country.
