BobBlast 210 - "Great Presentation without Framing."
Welcome back to another BobBlast! This short video lesson shows what I do with my 6” x 9” small paper paintings… my warm-ups and practice pieces. I sell them at art fairs, in galleries and museum gift shops and also online. But how? I don’t frame them. I (and you) and not in the framing business. I want to make a professional presentation without the added cost of a frame.. I mat and bag each one - Ready to go in the bins of a festival, open studio, gallery or museum shop. This is what you need… •First of all, standardize your paper sizes. •Secondly, make a “mock up” paper mat, according to available, standard frame sizes, which is easier for your customer. •Third point to remember after you have painted those standard universal-sized paintings… when finished, you’re ready to package and present them in a mat, a back board and a crystal clear bag. Ready to go! •And the final point before the painting flies out the door - photograph the painting and put it in inventory. Once it’s gone, you’re not going to get another chance! Cha Ching!
