The Carnforth Collections Volume 1 - The Borrowdale Exchange
The Borrowdale Exchange, seen here danced by A68 Young Scottish Country Dancers (and their friends) in Darlington, England, is a popular adaptation of a party dance. With dancers changing partner and re-forming sets things don’t always happen as in the instructions – especially if the numbers aren’t quite right in the first place. This group shows how the dance can be danced when there is a two-couple group in amongst the three-couple groups.
