Safari Simbaz Team Time Trial Cycling Race

How fast can you cycle in a team against the clock? Yesterday, 12 teams sought to find this out over a 60 km distance, 457 m elevation gain and a lot of crosswinds and headwinds. Each team was to try to get their first three (at least) riders across the finish line. It is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the third rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the third rider to get a quicker time.
