Enlightening the symbolism of Japanese festivals towards bountiful harvests, we discover the history of this festival and the unity of the townspeople, as well as their feelings for their hometown! This route network extended from Naha to Kadena, Itoman, and Yonabaru. It was called a "light railway" and was smaller than a regular railway. The "Yonabaru Light Rail Station" was also the terminal station of the first line in Okinawa, "Yonabaru Line (Naha-Yonabaru)", which opened in December 1914, and has supported the lives and economy of Okinawans, but it was also used during the Battle of Okinawa. The railway facilities were destroyed and it disappeared in March 1945.
