Today I'm making a small ash nightstand with two drawers. This is designer furniture, I can confidently say, as I borrowed the design (the original is the Tide Design Polly Cabinet model). Yes, I'm embarrassed, but I really liked it. In keeping with the principles of the "Steal Like an Artist" philosophy, I, of course, added a little of my own. Today will feature a lot of custom woodworking; we'll seek a balance between tradition and modernity, both in design and technology, while also capturing many carpentry subtleties and techniques.
