Today's a special video for my channel, as I make my pieces without using power tools or machines. This is a small but essential piece of furniture – a breakfast table, a tray table, and a bedside table. Today, the phrase "DIY" takes on a literal meaning, as this is truly handcrafted. I tried to incorporate a touch of modern design into this piece, embodied in interesting geometry. In this video, I use all my own hand tools (planes, chisels, saws, a brace, and a marking tool) and avoid using machines. This is labor-intensive work, which, however, is quite enjoyable.
