Delicas are small, calibrated glass beads from the Japanese brand Miyuki, cylindrical in shape with a very large hole in proportion to their size. Treasure beads are similar to Delicas, but from the Japanese brand Toho. Delicas are often used for peyote stitch because they form brick-like shapes in a flat, uniform weave. Granules, sometimes called seed beads because they are the most commonly used seed beads, are shaped like flattened balls, and the most commonly used are size 11/0.
