DDR Grenzübergang Marienborn Harbke 1992
In 1992, I visited the former GDR border crossing at Helmstedt-Marienborn. It was a gray day. It was spooky to just walk around there. The entire site was even tunneled. At 13:30, an Audi 80 drives past me. It stops and asks me why I'm filming so extensively. Unfortunately, I didn't film the conversation. At 14:00, you can see the ugly Rötgen facility... Back then, I filmed with a simple VHS-C camera. Hence the quality. Feel free to watch this historical document. #gdr #border #adventure #secretsofhistory
