Hornby Ruston 48DS With DCC Sound And Stay Alive
I couldn't resist trying to fit sound to one of these tiny Hornby shunters. In the end it wasn't too bad. I managed to fit everything in the cab and it's fairly well hidden. Installation wasn't too difficult. You have to take the body off to solder the motor wires and pickups, then you can put it back on and do the rest by removing the roof which just pulls off. I have added the sound decoder I used to my website, I could also install it if you would prefer to have the work done for you. https://www.roads-and-rails.co.uk
