The third day of the motorboat helmsman course, and this time the conditions are truly exceptional. Ice has appeared on the water, along with heavy fog. In these conditions, we practice the exam maneuvers that every future helmsman must master. During the course, we learn, among other things: • the "man overboard" maneuver • approaching a buoy • mooring to a quay • water safety rules • sailing in difficult conditions – fog and ice It turns out that the motorboat helmsman course can be completed year-round – even in winter. And sailing on frozen water is an experience that's difficult to achieve during standard training. This is the next stage in my adventure with motorboats and sailing.
