This level crossing is moderately busy with pedestrians, not particularly so with vehicles, and has two very loud alarms. The current set of barriers date back to 2016, and three of the four supporting masts here have evaded renewal despite beginning to appear a little rusted due to its coastal location. All trains during the off-peak call at the adjacent station, and with the current timetable, the crossing is actually spending more time lowered than raised! It thankfully doesn't seem to be particularly 'inefficiently operated', though.
