Saltwater Fly Fishing UK | Fly Fishing For Bass & Mullet

I started getting out on the salt with intent at the end of March this year, with high hopes and low expectations. I did manage to catch my first, but rather small, bass of the season earlier than I have in previous years in early April which filled me with positivity for the season ahead. This positivity wasn't to last though, the rest of April and most of May produced only blanks, but I kept seeing bass, and good size ones, mostly in awkward areas using weed as cover. In this video, I decided to have a change of scenery and it sort of paid off. Going with my 5wt and a hybrid approach, expecting to find mullet but also happy to catch bass. Hopefully, now we are in June as I'm writing this, things will be on the up and some better fish will grace my net. Tight lines!
