Historic Fiddletown, CA - A trip through a time capsule

Fiddletown, CA is a small gold town that flourished in the 1950's. Fiddletown road turns off of Shenandoah as you leave the town of Plymouth. The town feels like sepia tone, time forgotten. But the road is nice, cutting through oaks and other trees that filter the light onto the road. The road itself is nice and twisty, but bumpy. A sportbike is not ideal for this ride. This road is worth the detour from the nearby wineries. Connect this with Shake Ridger Rd and Route 49 for a nice loop.
