3018 CNC/PRO - Limit/homing switches
#DIYCNCMill #3018CNC #Fusion360 #GRBL #LimitSwitch #Tutorials In this video, I showed all the details on how to install the limit switches on a 3018 CNC/PRO. The installation wasn't difficult but I stumbled on a problem that made the homing failed. After many unsuccessful trials, I finally found out the real problem is that on the controller board, the X axis limit switches were marked at the place of the Z axis limit switches. I swapped the wires for the 2 axis and everything was working correctly afterward. When trying, I even installed the RC filter to reduce the interference. In the end, I don't think that the filters were necessary but having them on surely can only improve the functionality of the switches.
