TRIP REPORT | Emirates A380 Top Experience | Dubai to Singapore | Emirates Airbus A380

Emirates Trip Report flying from Dubai to Singapore, onboard one of the amazing Emirates A380, on a perfect day for flying. An extremely comfortable flight from Dubai to Singapore onboard one of the Emirates Airbus A380-800. Flying on the A380 is always comfortable... but if you are lucky enough to get 3 seats for you... well, then the comfort is at its maximum. And that was, precisely, what happened on this flight. After some exploration of Dubai Airport and a nice planeapotting session, we boarded the Airbus A380 that would take us to Singapore. The taxi in Dubai was pretty long, but it allowed us to see some nice places much closer. We took off towards the northeast, which gave us some of the most spectacular views of Dubai: the old town, the downtown, the port area... a really beautiful departure. Already over the sea we made an almost 180° turn and started out flight to Singapore. We overflew part of Oman and soon entered the Arabian Sea, flying in direct course towards India. We entered to the south of Mumbai and enjoyed some really nice views of the central mountains and both coastlines. After that, we entered the sea again, in this case, the Gulf of Bengal. We flew in direct course towards Malaysia. From there, a southbound course took us to Singapore, where we landed on time after a beautiful approach over the Bay of Singapore and the port. About the inflight service, this time it was just a good service. Don't take me wrong, it was better than basically any European airline service, but compared with other Emirates flights... well, I felt the catering on this flight was below the usual standard. The main meal (chicken curry for me) was great. However, the salad and dessert were clearly under Emirates standards. Now it's your turn! Have you ever flown with Emirates? Which route?
