TRIP REPORT | Onboard Lufthansa's B747! | Frankfurt to Boston | Lufthansa Boeing 747-400

Lufthansa Trip Report flying from Frankfurt to Boston onboard one of the Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 on a beautiful late-winter morning. We started our trip in Vienna, flying with Austrian to Frankfurt on the Austrian Business Class. An amazing trip on the mighty Boeing 747-400. After a nice planespotting session at Frankfurt airport, we boarded the Lufthansa B747 that would take us to Boston. Surprisingly, the flight was almost empty, and it only increased the comfort on the 747. We took to the west and quickly set course towards the UK and Ireland. We crossed the Atlantic, flying just to the south of Greenland, until reaching the east coast of Canada. The views of the Sea Ice there were just out of this world. Incredible. We continued southbound until we eventually reached the state of Massachusetts. After a beautiful approach over Boston, we landed at Logan Airport around 30 minutes late due to the strong headwinds over the Atlantic. About the onboard service, I have to say Lufthansa has definitely improved the service a lot. Far behind are those days of the salad of lettuce with lettuce as so on :) All in all, an unforgettable flight on the Queen of the Skies, the mighty Boeing 747-400. Luckily, Lufthansa announced they will extend their use for a little bit more again, so you can be sure this one won't be the last one on the channel :) Now it's your turn!
