BIVACCO RIVOLTA e COL DU FORT da Valmartin (Valtournenche)

We parked in Valmartin (Valtournenche), where one of the trails to the Cignana Dam starts. After reaching the dam and then the little church, we followed trail no. 4 towards the Rivolta Bivouac, which can be reached after climbing to Col du Fort! After a short break at the bivouac, we descended towards Torgnon, at a certain point joining the Alta Via no. 1 trail. We passed through Cortinaz inferiore and Cortina superiore, then joined the trail we used to climb to the dam! A wonderful hike; your fitness level is important to consider due to the considerable elevation gain and length!
