We packed up the car, loaded our pup in the back, and hit the road—800 miles ahead of us, chasing a quick getaway to Colorado. With my pregnant wife riding shotgun, snacks within reach, and playlists ready, we cruised through wide open highways and changing scenery, trading stories and soaking in the freedom of the drive.
