Thames Source, With Water to Kemble Bridge, March 2020 by Michael Parkinson

On 11 March 2020 I realised my ambition to see water at the source of the River Thames as I walked from the source to Kemble Station I am 80 years old and five days after this journey my wife and I fell ill with COVID-19. The train that I travelled on from Kemble to Paddington was busy with people returning from Cheltenham Races which many people say 'should have been cancelled'.
