Walk and Talk - ethical art as therapy for grief

Today, I meet with my friend, Tom, an ethical artist based in Brancaster Staithe, in Norfolk Tom is a good friend; someone I can spend a lot of time talking with, discussing my feelings, my journey through grief as well as his work and the local environment. One thing that I have learned that is so important as a griever is that friends are so important and I value Tom's friendship very much. Today, we take a walk from the harbour at Brancaster Staithe to Tom's studio, where we take a look at some of his wonderful paintings, all inspired by the local landscape, using reclaimed materials sourced from the area. Tom can be contacted at www.tomthebrus.co.uk or on Instagram @tomthebrus My name is Robert and this channel focuses on my healing journey through grief, following the passing of my partner, Linda, last year. This is part of my build-up to walking the entire coastline of Great Britain, starting in 2027. Would you like to walk with me? On Sunday, 5th July 2026, I will be holding the first Celebration Walk, here in North Norfolk. You are invited to join me for a scenic wander, where we will talk about, share stories and celebrate those loved ones who are sadly no longer with us. Let me know in the comments if you would like to join me.
