Though many of them are now in their old age, their invaluable contribution towards preserving, promoting, and elevating Khasi traditional music and culture is truly immeasurable. While we can never repay their dedication and sacrifices, we can honor them by carrying forward their legacy, following their footsteps, and keeping their traditions alive. In this episode of “TYNRAI BAN TYNGKAI”, we bring to you Bah Throlton Khongjliw, a traditional Khasi musician and singer who currently resides in Mawtongreng village (Khatar Shnong) under the Raid Mawshuit region. Originally from Laitmawsiang, Sohra, Bah Throlton is now 65 years old and earns his livelihood through farming.
