It also serves as a learning space for us to appreciate, preserve, practice, and pass on these precious cultural treasures from one generation to another. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Mebanlamphang Lyngdoh, a lecturer in the Department of Music at Martin Luther Christian University, who is also one of the finest practitioners of traditional Khasi music. He has contributed significantly to various musical platforms and Khasi music recordings, and has deeply immersed himself in the study and preservation of traditional Khasi instruments.
