I have put all the remastered Honeypot Gold Mine videos together and made a feature length (44 minutes) movie, I hope you have a cup of your favourite sauce to relax and enjoy the journey. It is an amazing story of how two Aussie mates discover one of the richest gold reefs of modern times. As a 'footnote', please keep as eye out for 1) The second Sunbaker, the 10 ounce specimen, and notice how it was trapped on the remnants of the weathered greenstone reef - That's a good reason to try any outcrops that you see, they're perfect gold traps; and 2) See when I show you where the Honeypot reef is, and say "It doesn't look like much, does it?" - Take note of how there is no surface expression there, no quartz reef or any indication that there is a phenomenally-rich gold mine at depth; and 3) The geochem sampling that we did produced gold and silver anomalies around the Honeypot, and a few to the northeast. The company that we were involved with came and performed a scissors-drill at the site of the Honeypot reef, and the results were terrible! Science doesn't lie ... Well OK, the drilling could have missed something, but basically it was a dud. Go figure!
