MANNING FALLS - An underrated gem on THE GIBB RIVER ROAD

Mt Barnett is the unnoficial halfway point along the Gibb River Road and behind it is the Manning Gorge Campground. This is the start place for your journey to The Manning Falls. We stayed here 5 nights and loved it. Of course we tackled Manning Falls from here but we also used it at a base camp to venture out and explore both Galvans and Adcock Gorges.  Manning Falls is stunning and quite under rated in my opinion. Everyone talks about Bell or Emma Gorge along the Gibb but for me Manning is a must do. The river swim, the hard slog of a hike and the magnificent falls at the end put this one right up there for me.
