El Questro - Our last stop on The Gibb.

EL QUESTRO is perhaps one of the most recognisable places to visit on the Gibb River Road. Boasting millions of acres, hot springs, and stunning waterfalls, it surely is iconic.  But at only a bit over an hour from Kununurra and on the sealed end of the Gibb, does it deserve all the hype?  Powered camping sites are some of the most expensive anywhere in the country, Diesel is available (but at $4 P/L May 2026), and what do ypu do when the hot springs is closed and so are half the Gorges? We decided to make the most of it and had a bloody ripper time anyway by visiting some of the lesser reviewed places the station offers.
