🌿 UBUD, Bali Walking Tour 4K Busy Town Vibes | Monkey Forest to Goutama Street Romantic Walk 2026

Ubud, Bali. Sunday, 3 May 2026. Today we’re in Ubud, Bali, enjoying a bright and sunny day — perfect for exploring this small yet romantic town on foot. Ubud is especially lively today, with international travellers filling the streets and footpaths. We begin our walk from Monkey Forest Street, right in front of Astina Field, which is commonly used as a public parking area. From here, we head north towards Ubud Town Square, one of the busiest intersections in town. Many travellers are seen relaxing on the steps, while local guides offer tickets for traditional dance performances held at Ubud Palace around 7:00 pm. Next, we make our way into Karna Street, a narrow lane transformed into a vibrant street market by local vendors. This is the perfect place to browse Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs — and to practise your bargaining skills. We continue to Dewisita Street, a lively strip lined with restaurants, bars, and spas — ideal for a break if you’re feeling hungry or in need of a bit of relaxation during your Ubud stay. From there, we turn right onto Hanoman Street, a busier road with steady traffic. Some travellers walk along the footpath here, heading towards the southern part of Monkey Forest Street or into the quieter lanes nearby. We then turn right again into Goutama Selatan Street, the southern part of the well-known Goutama Street. This area is famous for its calm and romantic vibe, especially in the evening. As the sun begins to set, couples stroll along the street, enjoying the warm glow of yellow lights and the pedestrian-friendly atmosphere. We continue along Goutama Street before turning left onto Ubud Main Street, the town’s busiest road. Traffic can be heavy here, with constant drop-offs and pick-ups, but thankfully it remains relatively calm without excessive honking. The sidewalks have recently been improved, making it much more comfortable for pedestrians. We wrap up our walking tour back at Ubud Town Square, right in the heart of Ubud’s vibrant atmosphere.
