Sandeep's sister opens up the family kitchen to share her chicken biryani recipe, built on kaima rice, curd-and-garam-masala marinated chicken, and the one ingredient she swears changes everything — green chilli, and not much colour, just deep flavour. Then we head out at six in the morning to a riverside spot where serenity meets an unbelievable spread: catfish, squid, mussels, dried chicken, beef, tapioca mash, and a traditional banana-and-moong-dal porridge, all cooked over open wood fire with no gas, no timers, and no modern kitchen, four dishes on the table in fourteen minutes of pure instinct.
