Mineola, NY - Loaner FS&S Thunderbolt 1003A - Steady Hi-Lo (Fire Signal) Siren Salute - 3/22/21

Update: As of May 2023 this siren has been replaced with the original 1003 from the original firehouse. Update: As of November 2022 this siren has been removed. This is the Mineola Fire Department's New Loaner Siren. It is only used for fire calls (as of now.) This siren is located at Mineola Boulevard and Washington Avenue near the firehouse. Finally, I got to the opportunity to see and hear the "New" Loaner 1003 in Mineola. It was nice and loud, just as a 1003 should be. Definitely seemed louder than the original 1003, which is currently in storage until the new firehouse is built, and this one is taking it's place until then. Definitely one of the most fun tests in a while, and I love the shot I got of it with the sun setting, giving it a golden look. I met up with my friend Lucas for this sound off.
