When things finally calm down, everyone sets to cleaning the house, including a tired and sleepy Ballu. As they continue to set things back in order, Ballu falls asleep, much to everyone's annoyance. Balu lives with his family, which includes his wife Smita, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kumar. He is supported by his friend Pappu Maharaj, who is also the family’s cook. Their active neighbours include a small boy by the name of Cheeku, Dr. Invento - the scientist, and a local bully. As the Kumars embark on various adventures, they inevitably fall into trouble. Balu’s innocence and enthusiasm ensure that he finds adventure even in the most mundane and dull life situations.
