However, he is beaten to a pulp and not only loses the match, but is also severely wounded. As Smita and K.K. tend to his wounds, Rahul sulked at his defeat. Soon after his recovery, Rahul begins to train extensively in order to grow stronger and defeat his opponent. Balu lives with his family, which includes his wife Smita, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kumar. He is supported by his friend Pappu Maharaj, who is also the family’s cook. Their active neighbours include a small boy by the name of Cheeku, Dr. Invento - the scientist, and a local bully. As the Kumars embark on various adventures, they inevitably fall into trouble. Balu’s innocence and enthusiasm ensure that he finds adventure even in the most mundane and dull life situations.
