Unclear what happened - Restoring a Grand Seiko Left for Dead

Help decide whats next on the bench:   / 145511077   This is a complete restoration of a Grand Seiko 6145-8000 complicated by a broken stem and a crown designed to never be opened. What looked like a normal service turned into a series of problems. The crown contained a snapped stem that could not be removed mechanically. After dissolving the broken stem using alum, the next issue was the crown was sealed by design. The gasket was trapped behind a washer that was never intended to come out. Instead of destroying the crown, i used a weird experimental solution. By stacking O-rings inside the crown, forcing it out from the inside.
