Snowy Tree Trunk Shader - UE4 Materials 101 - Episode 20

In this episode, we show one application of procedural noise - creating snowy tree trunks. A common problem in games and computer graphics in general is repatative content. How do we make unique-looking assets without needing to hand-craft everything? In this example, we use procedural noise to apply a different snow pattern to every tree depending on the tree's location in the world. No hand-crafting needed!
