Nerea de Ugarte is the founder of the social collective La Rebelión del Cuerpo (The Body Rebellion). She speaks about the role that media, advertising, and our environment play in shaping our self-image, and the importance of sharing our stories and experiences to empower others. A psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, she is a therapist specializing in Women's Psychology, Self-Esteem, and Empowerment. She also holds a specialization in Human Sexuality and Female Sexual Therapy. A Chilean speaker and lecturer, she has presented to over 50 governmental and non-governmental organizations, companies, schools, universities, foundations, and health-related conferences. She is the founder of the Niñas Valientes Foundation, La Rebelión del Cuerpo, and a member of the Board of Directors of Fundación Mapocho.
