My experience with doctors as a smoker

Good morning everyone! And a very happy Monday. Thank you all so much for answering my post and submitting your questions. Please do keep them coming. My plan is to go through questions and start making videos answering. I have answered already some of the questions posted, but it will be a blast to re-answer just for all you amazing folks. Today's topic... what is it like as a smoker going to the doctor? Let me tell you, I've had some extremely poor experiences, and I'm excited to talk about them because I think it's an important topic. One bad experience being when I went to the gynecologist and was shamed into getting poor birth control that I did not want because I am a smoker. The other time was at a minute clinic (or ready med, whatever you call them) and was told that I do not have Covid, despite testing positive, but rather it MUST be COPD. Both experiences were extremely unhelpful, and I'm thankful for my regular doctor for being kind to me. Overall, I'm not a fan of doctors. Granted, we need them because yes, smoking is harmful, but we still deserve proper healthcare that listens to our own needs and bodies. Wishing everyone a wonderful week. Please do keep questions coming. Thank you for liking and subscribing. You all are awesome. xx
