Federal Signal 2001-130 Siren Test | 1 Minute Attack | St. Johns, OH | 7/29/23

Location: St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue System: Auglaize County Test time: Every Saturday at noon Enthusiasts present: Tommy (‪@buckeyenotifications‬) A few weeks ago, we discovered that the Model 3 in St. Johns had been replaced with a brand new 130, so we decided to record it for the last Saturday of July since we could get a nearly eye-level shot from the hill behind the fire station. We were curious to see if it does attack like the Model 3 did, and sure enough, it does, although it only went for 1 minute instead of the 2 minutes that the old siren did. This one is also pretty punchy (115.6 dBC, 114.6 dBA), probably one of the louder 2001s I've heard, although that might only be because I was at a higher elevation the whole time. Not much else to say about this, other than you can see the Model 3 that the 2001 replaced lying on the ground behind it. Enjoy! Tight shot: Canon PowerShot SX60 HS Wide shot: Sony HDR-PJ710 Audio: Zoom H1n
