The kids have spent countless hours riding him all over the farm, through the yard, and out exploring, and they have also confidently driven him around the property entirely on their own. In harness, Denali is a safe and dependable driving pony for all levels. He has been driven for several miles on both back roads and main roads and handles traffic confidently and quietly. We feel comfortable saying that nearly anyone could safely and comfortably drive him. He stands patiently to be hitched and unhitched and is easy to manage both in and out of the cart. Denali has also been extensively desensitized to tarps, jugs, balls, and all sorts of obstacles and commotion around the farm. Nothing seems to bother this quiet little gelding. To make him even more fun, he is trick trained and knows how to lay down and sit on the bean bag.
