Horse of a Lifetime | 10 Years w/my Wild Mustang

On April 15th 2016 I picked up a wild untouched 2-year-old mustang for an mustang makeover competition. Within 3 days, I knew there was something special about this horse. Tag #9817, eventually named Lynx aka Wild Card. My third wild mustang. Throughout those 10 years, we've been on so many adventures and have traveled cross-country multiple times together. We've been to 45 states together (I've been to 48 but he can't go to Hawaii or Alaska haha!). Just us on the road. He was a random draw, I actually wanted a re-draw at pickup. I didn't pick this horse, but he was the horse I needed. He's helped me through some really horrible times, but has also been the main factor in all of my good times as well. I had my team of my three "heart" horses for quite awhile... it was him, my PMU foal I rescued at 3 months old Calypso, and my original sweet twice rescued PMU foal Calliope. Calypso, I felt the guilt of being on the road for work, so I sold her to my good friend where I get to visit and see her still. Calliope, my #1, passed away in May 2024. It was devastating and I'm still heartbroken. That leaves just the boy and I. Lynx has been my rock. Here's some highlights of the past 10 years :) I don't have many videos from early on but I did find a few I didn't know I had.
