We arrive as the tide turns and we're not alone... a trio of swans have popped along for their lunch! Its a fantastic day for incredible finds both ancient and contemporary: amazing sea glass, poison bottle shards, beautiful pottery, the oldest bottle tops we've ever found and a few mystery items to puzzle over. One thing strikes us though - the beach is dotted with bones of all shapes and sizes! Bones were once an important commodity with many uses... we take a wee look at the history of bones, from their use in ceramics and glass, to agriculture. And we tell you how they were collected from slaughterhouses and battlefields in equal measure... it'll send shivers down your spine and rattle your bones! And, its not even Halloween yet!
