A gay short film about identity, chosen family, and resilience, where a young black man finds acceptance and belonging within his local Kiki Ball community while facing conflict from those closest to him. Makai is a young homeless gay man staying on his friend Trevon's couch. As they prepare for a night of competition at a local Kiki Ball, Makai is forced to confront his disapproving older brother. Seeking an escape from the turmoil in his life, he stands his ground when the community that has given him support, friendship, and purpose comes under threat.
