Braveheart Keep Safe Adventure came to Montessori Minds Childcare and Kindergarten

🦁💙 Today, our little learners welcomed a very special visitor... Ditto! Through songs, dancing, storytelling, and interactive activities, our children took part in Bravehearts' Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure, a nationally recognised personal safety education program designed especially for young children. 🌈✨ The session introduced age-appropriate concepts that help children build confidence, resilience, and an understanding of their personal rights. Together, they explored how to: 💙 Recognise safe and unsafe feelings 🧠 Listen to their body's warning signs 🙋 Understand that their body belongs to them and that it's okay to say "No" if they feel unsafe or unsure 🗣️ Know that nothing is too scary or "too yucky" to tell a trusted adult 🤝 Identify the trusted grown-ups who make up their own Safety Team The children also learned and practised Ditto's 3 Keep Safe Rules: 💙 We all have the right to feel safe with people. 💙 It's okay to say No if you feel unsafe or unsure. 💙 Nothing is so yucky that you can't tell someone about it. At Montessori Minds, we believe that empowering children with knowledge is just as important as nurturing their curiosity.
