【Let's Go See a Cruise Ship】 Viking Yidun

I went to see the Viking Eden, which was docked at Yokohama's Shinko Pier. Built in Italy in 2017, it initially operated in Europe, but when it was transferred to the Viking Group, its flag was changed to Shenzhen, China, and its name was changed to Zhao Shang Yi Dun. Since 2024, it has been operating cruises to Japan under the name Viking Yidun. However, since its Japan-based cruises will end in May 2026, this may be the last time we see it in Yokohama. Although it's not the newest ship, having been in service for nearly 10 years, it was a refined and elegant cruise ship with a Scandinavian-inspired design, featuring outward-facing cabins throughout.
