The event began with a thanksgiving service led by Pastor Leon Wairara. The solemn atmosphere was further enhanced when the Central Papua Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) led a joint prayer for the Land of Papua, asking for peace, unity, and progress for the people of the eight regencies within Central Papua Province. The 4th anniversary commemoration was also marked by a cake-cutting ceremony as an expression of gratitude for the four years of Central Papua Province's journey since its official establishment. On that occasion, the Governor of Central Papua, Meki Nawipa, conveyed a message to the community, urging them to continue building Central Papua together by maintaining unity, security, and harmony. The excitement of the event was further enhanced by performances by national artists, including Nobo Idol and Michael Idol, who performed spiritual songs alongside a number of local Papuan spiritual artists. Their performance was warmly received by the crowd, who sang and praised God throughout the concert. Also in attendance were Central Papua Governor Meki Nawipa, Deputy Governor Deinas Geley, Acting Regional Secretary of Central Papua, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of regional government agencies (OPD), religious leaders, community leaders, and thousands of residents who came to enliven the culmination of the 4th anniversary of Central Papua Province. Through this celebration, which included worship and a spiritual concert, the Central Papua Provincial Government hopes that the spirit of togetherness, brotherhood, and service to the community will continue to be the foundation for realizing a developed, safe, and prosperous Central Papua.
