Held from July 23-26, 2025 in Harbin City, China, the 7th Harbin International Accordion Art Week includes concerts, workshops, seminars and competitions. Through more than 20 variations, it covers almost all the playing techniques and symbols of modern accordion, and has the nature of an instrument guide. The theme of the work blends traditional Chinese folk music. As the title suggests, moving forward without hesitation, let's feel the courage and perseverance of the piece." Dr Xu Xiaonan. Dr Xu Xiaonan, is an associate professor of accordion at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing and was the first doctor of accordion at the conservatory and the Director of its Keyboard Teaching and Research Section. He has received four awards from China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. His international competition success include winning the prestigious 10th China Music Golden Bell Award and first place at the 2012 CIA Coupe Mondiale Accordion.
