Highlights from the 8th Shanghai International Accordion Culture & Art Week 2026

The 8th Shanghai International Accordion Culture & Art Week (2026 "Shanghai Spring") runs from March 30 to April 6, 2026, in Changning District, featuring international artists from six countries alongside Yangtze River Delta performers. Highlights include a gala concert at Hongqiao Art Center, pop-up performances at Hongqiao Airport, and performances at Shanghai Zoo. The "Shanghai Spring" International Music Festival originated from the "Shanghai Music and Dance Performance Month" in 1959. It is the oldest music festival in China and a symbol of Shanghai's music and dance culture. For more than 60 years, "Shanghai Spring" has enthusiastically promoted Chinese traditions, actively absorbed the world's outstanding music and dance culture, and promoted cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
